The Saltwell Harriers committee have recently announced the fixtures for our 2022 Club Fell Race Series.
As a club with a proud fell running heritage we’re keen for everyone — those with lots of experience and those newer to the hills — to give this cracking competition a go.
The criteria for completing the series is that male members are to complete one of each distance, plus one other (of any distance). Female members should complete four races in total, of any distance. Lowest points wins. i.e 1 point for first Saltwell to finish.

- 13 Mar 22: Brough Law – Northumberland
- 12 July 22: Chapel Fell Top – Durham
- 27 Dec 22: Guisborough Woods – North York Moors
Medium Races
- 30 Apr 22: Guisborough Three Tops (English Championship) – North York Moors
- 5 Jun 22: Yetholm – Scottish Borders/Cheviots
- 19 Jun 22: Windy Gayle – Northumberland
Long Races
- 23 Jul 22: Old Crown Round (English Championship Race) – Cumbria
- 6 Aug 22: Borrowdale – Cumbria
- 17 Sept 22: Three Shires – Cumbria
