After what’s felt like a particularly long and wet winter, Spring is finally around the corner and that means the arrival of the Saltwell parkrun Spring Series!
For six Saturdays around April each year, there’s the opportunity to enjoy some local parkrun tourism and friendly club competition.
Spring Series competition rules
Anyone taking part in the series needs to be registered for parkruns and wear their Saltwell vest during the races.
Each race is scored in relation to other Saltwell runners with 1st place scoring one point, 2nd place two points, and so on. Those not attending will receive three points over the last finisher (therefore if there are 25 Saltwellians in the race the non attender will get 28 points).
Unlike previous years, all of your finishing positions will count towards your final score.
