parkrun Spring Series

Every Spring the club holds a Spring Series incorporating different local parkruns. This takes place over six consecutive Saturdays and is open to all Saltwell members. The final race always takes place at Gateshead parkrun in Saltwell Park.

Each race is scored in relation to other Saltwell runners with 1st place scoring one point, 2nd place two points, and so on.  Those not attending will receive three points over the last finisher (therefore if there are 25 Saltwellians in the race the non attender will get 28 points). All of your finishing positions will count towards your final score.

Anyone taking part in the series needs to be registered for parkruns and wear their Saltwell vest during the races.
